Media Trust Triathlon

I photographed at the Media Trust’s first ever triathlon on Friday 10th July, held at the stunning Dorney Lake in Windsor on your typical summer’s day. The weather actually held up and assisted with making the day an incredible one – sun galore! Huge thanks must go to Louise Hazel and Pamela Relph MBE for racing and supporting!

The triathlon was to be a fundraiser for the organisation and I can say it did very well! Credit must go to #TeamMediaTrust for ensuring a great event was held; and I am delighted to have played a part. The main runners were Human Race, with corporate partnership in the form of major players Dentsu Aegis, Google and Daily Mail.

Media Trust & ITV News host “Breaking Into News” 2015

I recently had the pleasure of photographing at the prestigious Breaking Into News event, run by both the Media Trust and ITV News. I was lucky enough to have access to the event as I was in the middle of my in-office voluntary work with the Media Trust – an experience which has been one of the highlights of my 2015 so far. I met some great people at both ITV and the Media Trust. This blog segment showcases some of the photos from the event.

Breaking Into News is a yearly initiative run by the Media Trust and ITV News in partnership. They give a handful of 18-25yr olds the opportunity to gain vital journalism experience whilst being mentored by a broadcast journalist from ITV News. The ultimate aim is to discover new talent and to pave the way to potential broadcast journalist stars of the future!
