Amsterdam Aperture

Amsterdam 2016.

It was quite the trip I must say; especially getting to grips with the Amsterdam culture, lifestyle, and remembering that “forward” is on the right hand side of the road and not the left as it is here in England!

I spent an amazing few days there in the Dutch capital, and come leaving day I did not want to go home! Below I will share with you a few of my favourite captures from the trip. Captures are specifically from iPhone (6S+ model) as I did not take my DSLR.

In Enfield yesterday desaturating it right down to leave the majority of the focus on the smooth red telephone boxes, a London/UK trademark. I have enjoyed adding a 'light leak' to this capture too!

A Walkway To Remember

This walkway brings back memories of my Secondary School days. I was here today in Enfield to capture this amazing one-point perspective view :)

This photo is quite the throwback for me and brings back many memories of lugging my work stuff from the school's Lower & Upper buildings.

Curving in Dalston

Yesterday afternoon, I visited the Dalston Eastern Curve Gardens (a cafe with great gardens) near Dalston Junction tube station and caught this unfiltered shot whilst waiting for a friend:

The grey building in the far distance looks as if it has been 'photoshopped' in or generated using architectural software Revit/Rhinoceros 3D (takes me back to my university days!). Quite cool!
